MALULEKE MSIMANG & ASSOCIATES ADMINISTRATION OF ESTATES AND TRUSTS

Trusts and Estates

The firm advises and assists clients with administrating and registering trusts, insolvent and deceased estates, and drafting Wills.

Winding Up Deceased Estates

Our team is qualified to assist you in ensuring an orderly winding up of the deceased's financial affairs and the protection of the financial interests of the heirs. A deceased estate comes into existence when a person dies, and such estates must then be administered and distributed in terms of the Will. The Administration of Estates Act, 66 of 1965 (as amended) prescribes the procedure to administer a deceased estate.

Drafting of Wills

Attorneys are professionals qualified in law to assist with drafting a Will, which will ensure that your assets are disposed of per your wishes after your death. This privilege is called “freedom of testation”. Suppose you are a parent, a breadwinner, or a homeowner and generally want to ensure that your affairs are in order. In that case, it is vital that you have a valid Will drafted by a professional, appoint an executor of your choice for your estate and a guardian for any minor children.
